WELCOME TO ST. ALBANS BOWLS CLUB

 If you are looking for a sporting activity that promises a relaxed friendly environment, with a bit of competition and challenges thrown in, then you are looking in the right place.

The St Albans Bowls club is the oldest established bowls club in the St Albans area and is an integral part of the community.  We have members from all walks of life who are always happy to welcome all newcomers of all ages.

We offer bowlers and non bowlers the opportunity to receive coaching, play social bowls and of course the opportunity to play penant.   We are also  especially proud in actively running a dedicated schools program in the area and also catering for businesses, clubs etc. who wish to hold a social bowls event.

Penant Season:

Saturday Penant:      Two sides, Division 5 and a Division 7, will be entered into the competition

Tuesdays Penant:     Also sees two sides entered into the competition.

Please Note:

Tuesday social bowls is not available during the pennant season.

In House Competitions:

The club conducts interclub championships for both men’s, women’s and mixed competitions with all members invited to enter.

The club has a regular calendar of events that it hosts and entry is open to all bowlers from throughout the country.

 

Location:  The St Albans Bowling Club is situated in Kings Park Reserve just off Magnolia Avenue, Kings Park, 3021.

Coaching:  Thursday – 4.30p.m.  – 5.30p.m.

Facilities:  

The club has two full size greens, one Synthetic and one Grass [tifdwarf] green.

Car parking available in the clubs car parks  (Front and at rear of club rooms)

Large club room with kitchen and bar facilities

Large outdoor barbecue area.

Disability access to Greens, bathroom.

Social Bowls:

During Penant season social bowls is held every Thursday with a start time of 12 noon.

Once Penant season has ended social bowls are also held every Tuesday with a start time of 12 noon
